Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and tracks marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events.
  • Writes, proofreads, and edits creative and technical content across different channels.
  • Develops and implements marketing plans and strategies that resonate with TCN's target markets.
  • Researches and analyzes industry trends and reviews the efficacy of current marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Builds TCN brand awareness to increase recruitment and retention objectives, value, profitability, and client base.
  • Creates and/or seeks opportunities to participate in suicide prevention initiatives as a part of TCN's participation in the 988 National Suicide Lifeline.
  • Analyses existing website traffic, internet activity, social media engagement, email engagement, etc.
  • Manages or assists with coordination of internal and external events, such as school supply drive, coat drive, employee engagement activities, recruitment events, etc.
  • Oversees the implementation of online marketing plans; complies and measures data to see the effectiveness of these plans.
  • Gathers, tracks, and reports all press releases, marketing and advertising activities, target demographic outreach, etc. to support all Prevention-related requirements.
  • Coordinates, collaborates, and participates in community outreach and networking with potential or current partners of TCN.
  • Travels to other TCN locations and within the community, connecting with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Connects with community partners or the media/news outlets, as requested or required.
  • Creates and maintains marketing collateral and reviews divisional collateral, as requested or required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:  Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field required
  • Experience: 2-3 years of total experience required, including (digital and traditional), public relations, preferably in a non-profit environment; content creation experience required; demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or advertising campaigns. Preferably has experience in advocacy at the legislative level, monitoring legislative bills.
  • Certified Prevention Specialist, to be fully covered by TCN.
  • Other:

    o  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM and CMS software.

    o  Working knowledge of HTML.

    o  Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly evolving environment.

    o  Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

    o  A true creative or visionary.
