KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Care Coordination:

  • Provides crisis intervention and community outreach services under administrative supervision that meets quality requirements set by the Agency and that is within the limits of services permitted by license and scope of practice.
  • Provides diagnostic assessments under administrative supervision that meet quality requirements set by the Agency.
  • Provides training and support to Lifeline and Hotline staff as well as, new employees specific to crisis services and resources.
  • Develops and maintains quality, accurate clinical charts for all clients served and documentation clearly identifies consumer's input in services by having consumer's and parent's/guardian's (if applicable) signatures when clinically appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains positive collaboration with other social service agencies serving clients. Provides consultation if needed.
  • Maintains license or registration appropriate to profession and appropriate to job requirement and ensures it remains in good standing, participates in expected amount of continuing education at all times of employment..
Training and Community Liaison


  • Attends public events and community to increasing awareness of the Agency; public speaking, if applicable.
  • Collaborates and cooperates with the community, law enforcement, Fire/EMS and area hospitals.
  • Coordinates outreach and makes recommendations to underserved populations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Master's Degree

Experience:

Minimum of three years' experience in mental health treatment services

Certification:

LSW, LPC, LISW-S, LPCC-S, or Psychologist

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of:  Safety rules and procedures, Agency policy and procedures, community and State resources, documentation requirements.
  • Skills:  Computer literacy, interpersonal skills, critical thinking
  • Abilities:  Lifting up to 25 pounds, use of computer keyboard, sitting for periods of time, ability to see, hear, and communicate information clearly, ability to recognize unusual or threatening conditions related to persons with disabilities.
